全一卷。略称制经。东汉安世高译。收于大正藏第十四册。本经藉长者之子‘制’（又译逝），向其悭贪之母，叙说供养佛陀之无量功德，及供养之虔诚心较供物之多寡更重要。经中并述及弥勒佛与其教化，推测本经系于诸佛、净土思想流行之后所成。同本异译经有佛说菩萨逝经、佛说逝童子经。
