凡二卷。南朝梁代真谛（499～569）译。收于大正藏第十六册。本经内容包含：校量功德品、如来界品、菩提品、如来功德品、如来事品、赞叹品、嘱累品等七品。叙述雕造佛像之功德，并说佛之三十二相、八十种好、六十八法、十八事等功德，为继涅槃经、胜鬘经等经之后，主张如来藏思想之经典。世亲之佛性论及坚慧之究竟一乘宝性论等，均多处引用本经，故于大乘教理史上，有关法身论、佛性论等之发达，本经占有重要地位。又东汉时译者不详之未曾有经一卷，为本经校量功德品之同本异译。唐代玄奘所译甚希有经一卷，为本经校量功德品与嘱累品之同本异译。
