全一卷。弥勒六部经之一。译于东晋。译者不详。收于大正藏第十四册。与竺法护所译十七纸之下生经（已佚）、鸠摩罗什译之下生经为同本异译。本经之说法中肯，尤以最初及最后之叙述方式异于其他诸经，颇堪注意。经初无‘如是我?闻’之句，以‘舍利弗者，是佛第一弟子’为始，终于‘弥勒佛却后六十亿残六十万岁当来下’。或谓本经系节录自他经，故有此型态出现。
