全一卷。东汉安世高译于建和二年至建宁三年间（148～170）。收于大正藏第十七册。本经系以汇集佛教各方面之知识为主，属汉译经典中之初期译作。内容分为五十余项，间有介绍佛、菩萨、阿罗汉、辟支佛等之特性。又全经较着重修行及道德实践之记述，故有关戒律之记载亦随之增加。
