唐中印度沙门地婆诃罗再译，佛住耆阇崛山，与无量菩萨，及比丘僧，乃至十方恒沙世界诸天龙俱。胜思惟菩萨请问二字之义？佛言，菩萨有九种一法应除灭。谓欲贪，瞋恚，愚痴，我执，懈怠，睡眠，染爱，疑惑，无明。有一法应守护，谓己所不欲，勿劝他人。如自爱命，则不应杀等。次明无有一法是如来所觉所证，以一切法本无有实，从因缘生。因缘亦如电光，念念不住故。次明持此经者，得生净土，见阿弥陀，及诸圣众，亦见灵山圣会。
