梵名Buddhabhu^mi -su^tra-s/a^stra 。凡七卷。亲光等菩萨造。唐代玄奘译。略称佛地论。收于大正藏第二十六册。为佛地经之论释。作者将佛地经科判为教起因缘分、圣教所说分、依教奉行分等三分以释之，并叙述佛地经所说之清净法界、大圆镜智、平等性智、妙观察智、成所作智等五种法，摄大觉地。亲光论师本身为中印度摩揭陀国那烂陀寺之学者，又为护法（梵Dharmapa^la, 530～561）之门人，因此佛地经论之思想，多以护法系统之唯识思想释之。其中对四智心品之说，以五性各别等说作释特别有名。注疏有唐代靖迈之佛地经论疏六卷、新罗智仁之佛地论疏四卷等。
