梵名Lalitavistara 。凡八卷。西晋永嘉二年（308）竺法护译于天水寺，康殊、帛法炬笔受。又称方等本起经。收于大正藏第三册。为大乘之佛传，系记载释尊降生至初转法轮之事迹。异译本有唐代日照（梵Diva^kara ，地婆诃罗）所译之方广大庄严经（又称神通游戏经），凡十二卷，二十七品，亦收于大正藏第三册。
