凡二卷。又作太子本起瑞应经、瑞应本起经、瑞应经。吴·支谦译。收于大正藏第三册。本经为佛传中早期成立者，其内容之编排或记述之体裁，大抵皆与‘修行本起经’类似，两经均采十七岁纳妃、十九岁出家之说。记述释尊之过去因地至成道后济度三迦叶等事。有关四门出游、出城时内殿之描写，与车匿诀别，尤其降魔成道之记载，气势磅礴雄浑，为重要佛传文献。
