梵名Su^rata -paripr!ccha^ 。有二译：一为曹魏白延译。一为前凉支施伦译。皆一卷。又称须赖菩萨经。收于大正藏第十二册。本经叙说古印度舍卫城中有一贫穷之人，名为须赖，品德优越，坚守戒律，修持十善。帝释天尝以暴力威逼，金银诱惑之；然须赖志在求不生不灭之道，以救度三界众生，故不为所动。次叙悭贪之波斯匿王与须赖之间，关于贫富问题之争论，后佛陀为之裁决，谓虽贫而心净犹为富，虽富而欲深犹为贫。波斯匿王闻后，遂皈依佛陀及须赖菩萨。本经之异译有支施仑译之须赖经、菩提流志译之大宝积经善顺菩萨会，及现已不存之支谦所译须赖经、求那跋陀罗所译贫子须赖经。
