赵州到一庵主处问：“有么？有么？”
主竖起拳头。
州云：“水浅，不是泊舡处！”便行。
又到一庵主处云：“有么？有么？”
主亦竖起拳头。
州云：“能纵能夺，能杀能活！”便作礼。
无门曰：一般竖起拳头，为甚么肯一个，不肯一个？且道，淆讹在甚处？若向者里下得一转语，便见赵州舌头无骨，扶起放倒，得大自在。虽然如是，争奈赵州却被二庵主勘破！若道二庵主有优劣，未具参学眼。若道无优劣，亦未具参学眼。
颂曰：眼流星，机掣电；杀人刀，活人剑！
