全一卷。刘宋求那跋陀罗译。收于大正藏第三册。‘大意’为童子之名，系佛陀过去世前身之一。本经内容叙述大意童子欲济助其国之贫，遂入海求宝，闻海底有明珠，欲抒海水而采之。天帝感其精诚，前来助之，海神大恐慌，急忙出珠，大意童子乃得明珠，施与国人。大意即今之释迦佛是也。
