全一卷。宋朝法贤译。收于大正藏第十四册。在本经中，佛陀告舍利弗，若能一心忆念东方之无能胜国善精进吉祥如来、无我国普照如来、善爱国吉祥如来、寂静藏国印捺啰计都特缚惹王如来、离尘国喜功德光自在王如来等五佛名号，或书写读诵讲说，则不堕于恶趣、下贱中，能生长寿天，免于五浊、三灾、八难等，能成就最上道。本经名八大菩萨，乃取经首所列八大菩萨之名（妙吉祥、圣观自在、慈氏、虚空藏、普贤、金刚手、除盖障、地藏）而立。
