亦称《悲莲华经》。佛教经典。北凉昙无谶译。十卷。“悲华”，意为“慈悲的白莲花”，是对释迦牟尼的赞誉。与净土类经典广为宣扬庄严净土相对，本经着力宣扬释迦牟尼于秽土成佛、普度众生的故事，从而突出释迦牟尼的大慈大悲。经中并叙述了大量的本生故事。异译本有：西晋竺法护译《闲居经》一卷(或十卷)，已佚;北凉龚道译《悲华经》十卷，已佚;三秦失译的《大乘悲分陀利经》八卷。本经为历代大藏经所收，敦煌遗书亦有收藏。另有梵文本和藏译本。
