《坐花志果》全书共八卷，另附《醒迷录》等。本书是一本因果故事集：作者叙述了三十年以来所耳闻目见的种种因果之事，罗列果报，劝惩并著。每篇小故事，先 以“七言诗”开篇，勾勒出故事梗概；中间详明、生动地叙述故事；文末，再以“坐花主人曰”的评注形式，点出“为善则昌，为恶则亡”的因果之理。一则则因果 故事，辗转曲折，如是因，如是果，催人警醒，感人至深。自成书以来，流通甚广，深受大众喜爱。鹫峰樵者为之音释，对文中的疑难字词，一一加以注音和解释。 民国年间，印光大师曾倡印、流通此书。在《印光法师文钞》中，多处可见印光大师为各界人士寄送《坐花志果》的记录。于此更见此书的劝善之功。本此出版，采用文白对照的方式，在每一篇【原文】后，均附上白话【译文】，以适合不同的阅读需求。
